My favourite hotels in Playa de las Americas

Parque Santiago Hotel

The Parque Santiago hotel was where we stayed. It was a huge complex with a shopping mall and several swimming pools as well as a gym. The breakfast buffet was huge and I would definitely recommend it. The bridges crossing over the pools was a very attractive feature that I really loved. The hotel is situated right on the beach and on very close to the main shopping street. Maybe like 200m. The building has a traditional Spanish feel to it that brings a nice and needed change.

On our previous trip we stayed in the Sunprime Coral Suites & Spa that was amazing because it was only for adults. In this hotel it is possible to really enjoy the peace and quite if that is what you are looking for from your holiday. The style is more Scandinavian, white and minimalistic with a modern touch. Aimed for the nordic travellers I assume. There was also a gym where you can have your workout. The breakfast buffet was huge and I would definitely recommend it. I don’t have photos of the hotel unfortunately but I have linked the webpage of the travel agencies photos below.

The Coral Red Maxi

I have always considered that a maxi length dress or skirt looks better on tall women but it has always intrigued me anyway even though I’m short. I am 158cm tall which is 5 feet 2. So I am relatively short and not all of the styles that are in fashion are suitable for my length and proportions. Nevertheless I decided to give this coral beauty a try on my holiday with a pair of flat sandals. I think us short girls can also pull of a maxi with flats quite well 🙂 The coral red looks amazing in the tropical setting, under the palm trees and looks great on tanned skin.

The beautiful nature and the tropical scenery of this island is just breath taking. I took a walk down the street from our hotel and came across these fabulous looking palm trees that I just couldn’t resist ❤ Just the colours, the setting and the beauty is by itself relaxing and puts the mind at rest.

The Beauty of Tenerife

I just love to travel! Don’t you? Tenerife is a traditional holiday resort for me and my family to travel to once in a while. It is a precious little gem worth visiting if you are looking for a relaxing getaway just for resting. Tenerife is one of the Canary Islands so the main language there is Spanish. We stayed in Playa de las Americas. It is just so cute and pretty there. Everything is pretty, clean and polished. The beaches are nice and there are a lot o shopping opportunities around the island. I absolutely love the setting with the palm trees and the cute architecture. If you travel there in the spring it will not be too hot there either if you are not a fan of super hot weathers 😉 I prefer the heat but once in a while it’s nice to enjoy the comfort of cooler warmth.

A Hard Rock cafe can also be found in Playa de las Americas.

Tonight we went walking around the shopping mall. I was just so mesmerised by the night-lights and the fountains there. Super pretty! There are a lot of high end shops as well as the basic mainstream shops. Everything for everyone basically 🙂 I did some proper shopping there and I’m sure Tenerife will not leave even a serious shopper unsatisfied.

The nightlife is not bad either. I really recommend the Magic Bar. It is a classy and sophisticated cafe/club / shisha lounge and they play very good live music so people can dance. I really liked the place because the crowd was approximately 28+ years old. So no teenagers!

The picture below was taken in a botanical garden that was inside a hotel. Very interesting idea. I felt like I was in a tropical jungle where the air is 100 times better than anywhere else. It was a very healing experience.

As strolling through the streets I came across a very unique wall completely covered in seashells! I thought it was just amazing. Never seen anything like that before.

HELLO MY LOVELY READERS AND WELCOME TO MY BLOG! After a long consideration I have finally decided to start a blog.

I am a 34 year old woman from the nordics. More specifically from Finland. I was born in Lithuania actually so that is in the baltic area. Me and my family moved to Finland when I was 5 years old so I consider myself Finnish international. Doubt I have any Lithuanian left in me 🙂 My passions include fashion, interior, beauty, travel as well as health & wellness. This blog will cover all of these topics therefore I’m calling it a lifestyle blog.

The main reason for starting this blog was because of my passion for fashion specifically for petite body shapes, travelling and skincare for women in their 30’s. I want to genuinely help women find the right outfits for their petite body shapes and be brave enough to wear them ❤

Thank you for joining me on this journey! Hope you will enjoy the ride ❤
